According to Slamet, there was no special message from Rizieq for Prabowo and Sandi. In fact, Rizieq was convinced that Prabowo and Sandi were capable and experienced in caring for the debate stage. It just needs peace so that it's not awkward.

Slamet said Rizieq would also watch the presidential debate later tonight. So, he was not sure whether Rizieq would watch with the guests at his house or not.

The National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi directs a number of members to the area so they can watch together the presidential debate. Cadres of bearer political parties and candidates are also expected to participate in holding the same event with the surrounding community.
Slamet agrees that FPI and PA 212 support Prabowo-Sandi in the 2019 Presidential Election in accordance with the results of Ijtima Ulama II. However, there was no specific instruction from Rizieq so that FPI sympathizers and cadres and PA 212 would hold a joint watch.

Slamet said FPI cadres and sympathizers and PA 212 only needed to see debates in their homes. Rizieq and the FPI DPP also did not issue instructions so that cadres watched the presidential debate.
"I have not been told to watch it myself," said Slamet.

The General Election Commission (KPU) held the first debate on the 2019 presidential debate on this evening, Thursday (1/17). The presidential debate will begin at 8:00 p.m. and be broadcast live by TVRI, Kompas TV, Rajawali TV, and Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI).

The theme of the first presidential debate is law, human rights, corruption, and terrorism. In accordance with the mutual agreement, each candidate pair was sent a question by the KPU on January 10.
